History

Grupo Industrial CYF, S.A. de C.V. is a 100% Mexican company that contributes to the supply of the Clutch and Brake rebuilding and spare parts market. The company was born in Mexico City in 1973 under the name "CYF de México S.A", with the objective of covering the existing demand for new clutch discs and their components for rebuilding.

In 1977, it was decided to grow and relocate the company to the city of San Luis Potosí. In June 1978, the manufacturing of clutch discs began. In 1980, the manufacturing of clutch linings began, after establishing a Technology License with an important English friction materials company.

In 1985, the international commercialization of our products began and, from that date, we export to more than 10 countries, with the United States, Central America and Canada being our main export destinations.

In 1993, it created the "VANTECH" brand; today, synonymous with quality in the rebuilding market in Mexico and Central America. VANTECH began its diversification strategy, to incorporate Commercial Lines related to Clutch and Brake into its Manufactured Products to meet the needs of its customers.

In 2005, VANTECH began selling discs, linings and clutch components to companies in the United States in the High Performance market.
